Office Hours and Appointments

Our regular office hours are 8:00AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Offices are closed for lunch from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Regular offices hours are for visits with providers by appointment only. If you must cancel an appointment, please notify the office as soon as possible so that we may offer the time slot to another patient. No-shows or cancellations less than 24 hours before appointments will be billed for the appointment. Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration.

We realize that situations may arise that may require you to be seen on the day you call. We will make every effort to see established patients with acute problems on the same day. In these instances, please emphasize to our receptionists that you wish to be seen that day.

Call-in Time is available 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM Monday through Friday by calling During this time, providers are available to take calls to discuss laboratory or X-Ray results, acute illnesses for which you may wish to be seen that day, or other issues that can be discussed briefly. Due to the large volume of calls, we kindly request that these phone calls be limited to 3 minutes duration so that other patients can speak to the providers.

During Call-In Time our offices are also open for the following services: blood drawing for tests that require fasting; EKG's; urine collections; vaccinations; other patient activities that do not require the presence of a physician. Please call our office prior to coming so that we may have your charts and information available.

GIMG offers Saturday morning appointments in our Ballston Office for patients who are sick or need urgent medical care. Two medical practitioners, one of whom is the on-call physician, will be available for appointments from 8:00 AM until 11:45AM. Please call the office to schedule an appointment. The telephones will be answered from 8:00AM until 12:00 PM. If you are having a life threatening medical condition call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

We will be offering a very limited number of preventive health exams (complete physical) for any patient who may wish to be seen on a Saturday. Patients who schedule for a physical on a Saturday will be seeing the available practitioner of the day. Please note that we will not be performing routine services on Saturdays which includes routine lab draws, injections, Coumadin/protime checks, or other services of this kind by the medical assistants.

The Ballston office will not be open the Saturday of office holiday weekends: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
