Why should I pay for Patient Preferred Access?
In today's health care environment, insurance plans simply do not reimburse medical services at
levels that allow physicians to provide these types of administrative services at no cost.
Administrative costs for items such as prescription refills, copies of medical records and lab
results are often passed on to patients on a per use basis.
With Patient Preferred Access, you can have 24-hour access to this information on-line
for a single annual fee of $100 per year, saving you both time and money. This fee is likely eligible for reimbursement if you participate with a Healthcare Flexible Spending account.
