Dr. Abedi is a board certified internist, who recently completed her training at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center. She grew up in NY and then completed her undergraduate Medical Doctorate and Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John's, Canada. Dr. Abedi also completed one year of Family Medicine Training at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada, prior to beginning her residency in Internal Medicine.
Her professional interests are women's health, public healthy policy, and patient advocacy.
In her spare time, Dr. Abedi enjoys international travel with her husband.
