Thao Doan was born in Vietnam and grew up in southern Virginia. She received her BA in Biology at the University of Virginia. She attended
the Duke University Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 2004 with a Masters in Health Sciences. After graduation, she practiced
in family medicine for about five years before leaving the States to work as a PA within the National Health Service in England. In her
spare time, she enjoys photography and traveling.
