Kathleen Rodgers, RD (Dietician)
Kathleen Rodgers has a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator. Her specialties include diabetic education, nutrition counseling, and fitness training. She has over ten years of experience in the field of wellness and has worked with a wide variety of clients, including professional sports teams. Her specialized training allows her to prescribe both exercise and dietary regimens. Her wide knowledge of diabetes problems and solutions makes her a valuable resource for diabetics and their families.
If you are a diabetic and are measuring your blood sugars, please bring your blood sugar logbook to all appointments with Ms. Rodgers. All patients should bring a "food diary" of all items eaten on three days during the week before the appointment. Come prepared with any questions you may have regarding testing blood sugars, timing of medications, meals, snacks, or any other issues pertaining to diabetes life issues. A spouse, partner, or other family member is always welcome and may be very useful.
Initial consultations are 55 minutes long and follow up appointments are 25 minutes. The fee schedule is as follows:
Initial Consult: $100.00
Follow-up visit: $55.00
Payment is expected at time of the visit. If you are unable to keep your appointment, you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee. (Late cancellation fees are $50.00 for an initial appointment and $25.00 for a follow-up).
Medicare Patients are not covered for services rendered by Kathy Rodgers and are responsible for payment.
