Nina Selvaggi, MD (Endocrinology)

Dr. Nina Selvaggi is an endocrinologist and board-certified internist. Born and raised in New York City, she graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She spent several years on the McGill faculty as a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Endocrinology prior to moving to the Washington area in 1989. Her many interests include marine biology, languages, and the performing and fine arts. She has no regrets at all about having left Montreal's invigorating cold for Washington's "balmy" weather. Dr. Selvaggi joined our practice in January 1989. She spends her spare time (ha! ha!) with a houseful of standard poodles (the BIG ones!) Dr. Selvaggi also speaks fluent French.
