Regarding SEASONAL flu shots: General Internal Medicine has not received our full shipment of flu shots and currently is only able to offer flu shots to high risk patients. We order our annual flu shots over a year in advance and are very disappointed that we have not received all we ordered. We have not been able to get the vaccine from any other source. The problem seems to be the result of the need to manufacture Swine Flu (H1N1) vaccine which delayed the full production of seasonal flu vaccine. We understand and share the frustration and disappointment this has caused our patients. Please feel free to call us periodically and check if we have flu vaccine available. Peak flu season has not arrived and we will continue to offer flu shots when our supplies arrive.

Note: The seasonal flu shot does NOT protect you from H1N1 (Swine Flu).

H1N1 shots are not yet available. Please keep checking the web site for updates on when it will be available and whether you will qualify to receive one.
